Apply nowTo strengthen our team, we are looking for a Translator, who will report to the Technical Documentation Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating internal and external technical documentation for Salvagnini products, ensuring accuracy and consistency with company objectives.
Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for:
-Working closely with engineers and other experts to understand and accurately translate technical content.
-Conducting research to ensure the correct use of industry-specific technical terminology.
-Maintaining and updating the company's terminology databases.
-Adapting translated content for different markets and cultures, ensuring consistency and cultural appropriateness.
-Ensuring that translations are completed by the agreed deadlines.
Technical requirements:
-Preferably 1 to 2 years' experience in similar sectors
-Knowledge of Simplified Technical Language (ITS), Information Mapping and AI tools in the translation field is desirable
-English language proficiency at C1 level
-Knowledge of other languages (e.g. Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese, Scandinavian languages) is desirable
-Willingness to travel occasionally up to 15% of working hours
