Production Planner

For Matrix s.r.l., a Salvagnini Group company based in Schio specializing in the design, manufacture, and supply of sheet metal working tools, we are looking for a Production Planner.
The candidate will be responsible for planning the workflow, ensuring supplies are consistent with production plans, and cooperating to achieve company objectives.

Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the production plan based on the required short-, medium-, and long-term lead times;
- Organizing work orders based on internal constraints (delivery times, production capacity, and bottlenecks);
- Controlling costs, i.e., the purchase of materials, semi-finished products, and subcontracted supplies, based on external constraints (delivery times, supplier reliability);
- Monitoring order progress and measuring any deviations;
- Verifying compliance with agreed delivery dates (customer service level) and taking appropriate corrective action where necessary;
- Proposing material procurement strategies.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of cycles and bills of materials
- Experience in the role, preferably gained in companies dedicated to mechanical processing.
- Knowledge of planning logic (MPS-MRP, Lean, TOC, etc.) is preferred
- Excellent command of Excel
- Familiarity with advanced management systems (SAP, Infor LN, JDE, etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Proactivity, motivation, and ability to work in a team.
