Apply nowSalvagnini Robotica, based in Brendola (VI) and specialising in the design and manufacture of B3 press brakes and robotic cells, is seeking a Robot Tester to join the team. Reporting to the Planning and Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, testing and start-up of Salvagnini systems (with a focus on robotic systems), ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and company standards.
They will also act as a point of contact for organising testing activities and coordinating with the various company departments.
Key responsibilities and activities:
-Commissioning and bringing systems into production in accordance with order specifications
-Managing the testing and integration of robotic systems with other equipment
-Verifying the qualitative and quantitative conformity of the supply
-Planning and coordinating testing and commissioning activities
-Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental procedures
-Acting as a point of reference for departmental procedures and best practices
-Assembly, installation, commissioning and full testing of systems
-Simulation and pre-verification of systems
-Programming and testing of the robotic system
-Verification of correct operation (manual and automatic)
-Fault diagnosis and resolution, including in collaboration with other teams
-Analysis of system quality in accordance with internal standards
-In-house and customer training on the use and maintenance of systems
-Monitoring and updating the progress of activities.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Project Managers, Technical Department (mechanical, electrical, software), Service/After Sales, Documentation Department and Customer Training teams.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or vocational qualification
-At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with custom-built robotic systems
-Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, and correct manual handling techniques
-Knowledge and ability to operate and programme robots (any brand)
-Knowledge of electronics
-Good familiarity with IT tools
-Good knowledge of English
-Willingness to travel occasionally (15%30% of working hours).
The following would be an advantage:
-Experience in contexts related to sheet metal bending
-Experience with Fanuc robots
-Knowledge of Fanuc Roboguide software.
