Apply nowSalvagnini Italia is seeking a Prototyping Operator for its site in Sarego (VI).
The successful candidate will report to the Prototyping Manager and, in carrying out their duties, will liaise with all departments: R&D, Production, Testing, Quality and Purchasing.
Main responsibilities:
Construction, testing, and verification of prototype functionality.
Technical validation of the developed solutions.
Support for industrialization.
Developing ideas with a holistic approach, from concept through design to in-machine testing.
Supporting design teams during product development phases.
Building prototypes of machines, machine parts, and/or equipment according to technical drawings and design specifications.
Preparing, configuring, and using the equipment and tools necessary for prototyping activities.
Performing assembly, adaptation, and modification of prototype components.
Conducting functional, dimensional, and performance tests.
Collecting, recording, analyzing, and documenting test results, reporting any anomalies or opportunities for improvement.
Contributing to the definition of procedures and operating instructions.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
At least 23 years of professional experience in similar roles.
Technical diploma.
A university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
Good ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of mechanical assembly and installation techniques.
Installation of electrical and electromechanical components.
Familiarity with the main mechanical machining processes and related production processes.
Understanding of how automated machines and complex industrial systems operate.
Knowledge of machine management software, machining cycles, and axis control systems is a plus.
Knowledge of CNC programming logic and CAD/CAM software is preferred.
Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 15% of the time.

A permanent contract with an annual gross salary starting from 40,000 euros, commensurate with experience and skills.
Salary grading based on objective criteria (experience, skills, seniority), applied fairly and independently of gender.
