Software Engineer

Salvagnini Robotica, based in Brendola (VI) and specialising in the design and manufacture of B3 press brakes and robotic cells, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team.
The successful candidate will report to the Technical Department Manager and will work closely with the Electrical and Mechanical Design, Product Development, Testing and Service teams.

Main responsibilities:
-Development of robot-machine interface software for automation
-SCADA programming
-PLC programming, including Siemens and Beckhoff
-Knowledge of safety PLCs
-Simulations, testing and, where required, commissioning of systems.



Requirements:
-Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
-At least 2 years' experience in SCADA and PLC programming
-Preferably with prior experience in automation or robotics
-Good knowledge of English
-Willingness to travel occasionally – up to 15% of working hours.
