R&D Software Cloud Manager

We are looking for a Cloud Software R&D Manager to join our R&D department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the teams involved in the development of cloud software products, defining architectures, processes and technological strategies based on Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, .NET, Angular, IaC tools such as Terraform, and data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.
The role involves the technical and organisational supervision of the development of digital services that integrate Salvagnini machines with the cloud ecosystem.

Key responsibilities:
-Manage and coordinate the cloud software development teams dedicated to Salvagnini's digital products.
-Define scalable, secure and modern cloud architectures based on Microsoft Azure.
-Lead software development activities in .NET and Angular, defining standards, guidelines and best practices.
-Govern the entire software lifecycle via Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines).
-Supervise and optimise CI/CD pipelines, deployments and environment management.
-Apply and promote the use of Infrastructure as Code practices via Terraform (or other IaC tools).
-Promote DevOps practices, code quality, test automation and agile processes.
-Collaborate with the Product Management and Digital Services teams to define roadmaps, priorities and requirements.
-Support machine-to-cloud integration initiatives (IoT, telemetry, data analytics, predictive maintenance).
-Contribute to the definition of the data platform and solutions based on Microsoft Fabric.
-Foster the development of team skills and the professional growth of staff.

Technical requirements:
-Solid experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management, Storage, Security).
-Proficiency in software development using .NET/C# and in building front-end applications in Angular.
-Knowledge of microservices architectures, event-driven systems and REST services.
-Practical experience with Azure DevOps for version control, project management and CI/CD.
-Excellent command of IaC tools, particularly Terraform.
-Familiarity with DevOps concepts, monitoring and observability.
-Knowledge of data analysis technologies and an interest in Microsoft Fabric.

Additional requirements:
-Ability to manage teams, provide technical leadership and coordinate projects.
-Good command of English.
-Experience in the industrial, manufacturing or mechatronics sectors is preferred.
-Willingness to travel between HQ and the Innovation Hub is required.

Place of work: Sarego (VI) / Padua (PD)
Working hours: full-time, 38 hours per week
Option for remote working (8 days per month) and flexible start date
