Bewirb dichWe are looking for a SIM Cycle Software Engineer to join the SIM System Improvement & Modification department.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- industrialisation, development and maintenance of machine software cycles;
- preparation of software cycles on a contract basis and configuration of applications installed on board the machine;
- managing upgrades of IPCs and Salvagnini control boards;
- studying, preparing and validating software cycles applied to prototype components and related industrialisation;
- providing technical support for feasibility studies and specific software requests;
- installation and testing activities on site for IPC and control board upgrades;
- networking and support activities during the start-up phase;
- ongoing collaboration with the company departments involved: R&D, Purchasing, Production, Project Management, Service and Revamping.
Preferred technical requirements:
- good knowledge of industrial automation (motion control, motors, actuators, sensors);
- good knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol;
- familiarity with control logic, application configuration and software tools for automatic machines.
The profile is completed by:
- Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines (Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar);
- preferably a couple of years of experience in similar business contexts;
- knowledge of English (level B1B2);
- willingness to travel occasionally, up to 30% of the time;
- precision, reliability, aptitude for teamwork and good interpersonal skills.

Working hours: full time, 38 hours per week
