Cyber Security Specialist

To strengthen the IT department in Sarego (VI), we are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Managing all IT security incidents and support requests
• Identifying security breaches and inefficiencies by collaborating on periodic audits
• Maintaining security controls
• Identifying and resolving potential and actual security issues
• Keeping the IT security manager informed by preparing performance reports and communicating the status of the system
• Maintaining service quality by following the organisation's standards
• Maintaining technical knowledge by participating in training workshops
• Generate security manuals on security protocols and processes for internal employees
• Contribute to the team's efforts by achieving related results as needed

Technical requirements:
• Knowledge of ISO 27001
• Knowledge of cybersecurity regulatory environments, including but not limited to NIS2
• Practical experience analysing large volumes of logs, network data, and other attack artefacts
• Proficiency in the use of antivirus and security software
• Knowledge of cloud-based environments
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, common network ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, network segregation and firewall management, OSI model, common security elements


The profile is completed by:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
• Good knowledge of English (at least B2)
• Willingness to travel

Place of work: Sarego (VI)
Working hours: full time, 38 hours per week
Possibility of remote working (8 days per month), flexible start times, in-house canteen
