The following project is available in the Industrialization area:
Reducing the Lead Time for Manufacturing the 'S1 Press': to reduce delivery times for S1 Presses to the customer, it is necessary to analyze the BILLS OF MATERIALS and the manufacturing process for the S1 Press, proposing improvements designed to reduce the lead time and assembly cycle times for the machine.

Objectives:
-Analysis of the bills of materials to define the 'standard machine body'
-Survey and analysis of the current assembly process
-Make-or-buy evaluation
-Redefining the assembly process (modifying the assembly sequence, creating generic assemblies, etc.)
-Standardization
-Integration of new equipment and/or automation systems
-Workload leveling across the involved production departments
-Definition of production lots
-Improvement of material supply
-Outsourcing of low-value-added activities
-Layout of pre-assembly stations and equipment for storing work-in-progress (WIP) materials
-Reorganization of inventory and management parameters for S1 Press items
-Modularity of feed and discharge connections
