Software Engineer - C#

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE
- Continue the development of touch-based HMI for the visualization of machine status and for operation of Salvagnini sheet metal bending machines, as well as continuous improvement
- Ongoing development of the application software to program Salvagnini sheet metal bending machines
- Agile development and design of software applications for the Smart Factory
- Programming of software connections for barcode scanners, label printers, etc. or customer ERP systems
- Working on the Salvagnini Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in the scheduling area
- Help with international projects

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS YOU BRING TO THIS JOB
- Completed IT training (university or technical college) in the field of software engineering, computer science, information technology, etc.
- Approx. 2 years practical experience in technical software development
- Very good knowledge in the area of object-oriented programming, MVVM and TDD
- Programming languages in the .NET environment: C++, C# (must-have) & WPF (nice-to-have)
- Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio & DevOps software stacks
- Experience with agile development models
- Fluent in business English for working on international projects
- Willingness to travel (approx. 2X per year to head office in Italy)

The minimum salary for this position under the collective bargaining agreement is EUR 3.591,87 gross per month, based on full-time employment. Depending on your individual work experience and qualifications, additional salary is available.
